The Carbon Steel BS3601 Pipe consists mainly of carbon with small quantities of manganese, silicon, and trace elements. The carbon content usually varies between 0.30% and 0.60%. The strength is combined with ductility, which provides the necessary properties. The tensile strength ranges between 500 MPa and more, while the yield strength ranges between 250 and 350 MPa.
